On Bitfinex Pulse, you can create pulses to share your thoughts, article links, photos, share charts, a snapshot of a Trading View chart and many other pieces of information.
A pulse is a post created on Bitfinex Pulse. It can either be private or public, depending on your verification level and settings.
What is the difference between private and public pulses
Private pulses can only be seen by the person who posted the pulse.
Important: If your account is at the Basic Access level, you will only have view-access.
Public pulses are reserved for Basic Plus and above level verified users. These users can choose to share their pulses on the Home section (the pulses feed) for public consumption, which can also be seen by those who have not signed in to Bitfinex.
Note: If you are a Basic Plus and above verification level user, Bitfinex Pulse will set the default status for your pulse to public. However, you can change it by clicking on the eye icon, should you wish to post a private pulse instead.
In addition, as a Basic Plus and above verification level user, you can give the consent to appear on the Bitfinex Leaderboard (Manage account > Account > Leaderboard nickname display mode).
