Tipping lets BItfinex Pulse users reward other users for their fun, interesting and quality content on the network.
How to accept tips on Bitfinex Pulse
If your account is at Basic Plus and higher verification levels, you can enable the tipping option from the Edit Profile section on Bitfinex Pulse.
If you wish to use the tipping function on other websites or blogs, follow the instructions at the bottom of this article on Using the Bitfinex Pulse tipping widget.

How to tip on Bitfinex Pulse
You can tip users who have enabled their tipping feature. You can find the tipping option by:
- using the Tip button that is displayed on the pulse footer roll-over;
Note: You can also tip for pulse replies.
- hovering over the user’s profile when visiting the account’s profile page;
- Or accessing the user’s name from the Leaderboard.
The following currencies are currently supported for tipping:
- Tether tokens (USDt) on Ethereum/Tron/OmiseGo/EOS/Algorand;
- Unus Sed LEO on Ethereum;
- Bitcoin on Lightning Network (LNX).
Important: To tip over the Lightning Network, you can use third-party apps such as the Bitfinex mobile app’s Fast Pay.
Using the Bitfinex Pulse tipping widget
You can enable this tipping feature as a widget on your external websites and blogs with your personalised message. To do so, once you have enabled tipping onto your Pulse account as instructed above, go to Edit Profile > Get Tipping Badge. You can then insert your custom message, such as tip me and see a preview of the widget.
