This Competition Description is meant to be read in conjunction with the General Rules for Competitions on Bitfinex.com.

Name of the Competition: “Verasity Telegram Takeover & Treasure Hunt” (the “Competition”)

Description of the Competition:
The competition will take place on the Official Bitfinex Telegram account (https://t.me/bitfinex); you can always identify the official account with the blue tick icon as shown here.

Please note: Bitfinex or any of the official Bitfinex team will never contact you on Telegram to ask for personal account information or share any files with you.

The Verasity Telegram competition will take place on Friday 15th July at 15:00 UTC. Participants are advised to join before this time to ensure they don’t miss out.

During the event, representatives from both Bitfinex and Verasity will be discussing the Verasity project, and this is where the answers to the Verasity Telegram Takeover and Treasure Hunt will be shared.

For those unable to attend the Verasity Telegram Takeover and Treasure Hunt, there will be a blog post shared that will also give details to the answers.

Note: For the bonus questions, there will be no information in the blog post.

Once the competition is over, a form will be shared and pinned on the Bitfinex Telegram channel. Here, you must go in and answer the questions and submit your answers. This is a race against time, and those with equal points performance will be sorted into the slots from first to respond to last.

Please note that during this time, the Telegram channels chat feature will be turned off to the group members, so only the Verasity and Bitfinex teams can communicate during this time. Should you need support, you can visit cs.bitfinex.com.

To join the ‘Verasity Telegram Takeover & Treasure Hunt’ competition, you'll need to have a verified Bitfinex account to at least a Basic Plus level. You will also need to ensure you have a VRA (ERC-20) wallet address set up on your account so that the competition prize, should you win, can be transferred to your account. 

Competition Period:

15th July 2022 at 15:00: UTC - 22nd July 2022 at 00:00 AM UTC (eight days)

Competition Prizes and Payment:

The main criteria will be the score, with each question worth one point, including the Treasure Hunt questions that will be added to the quiz form.

The second criterion is the response speed, which will be checked via a timestamp. 

Payment: Winners will receive reward tokens in their Exchange wallets. The reward tokens will be distributed to winners on or promptly after 29th July, 2022.

SLOTS 1 to 10:  10000 VRA EACH
SLOTS 11 to 30:  7000 VRA EACH
SLOTS 31 to 60:  5000 VRA EACH
SLOTS 61 to 80:  4000 VRA EACH
SLOTS 81 to 100:  3000 VRA EACH
SLOTS 101 to 120:  2000 VRA EACH
SLOTS 121 to 150:  1000 VRA EACH

TREASURE HUNT:

6 bonus questions will be asked in the quiz, each worth one additional point.
To answer bonus questions, you will need to navigate, follow and search for clues across the social media channels of both Bitfinex and Verasity. Each question will lead to the post where the answer will be.

Eligibility:

This Competition is open to all eligible users who have completed at least the Basic Plus verification process by 11:59:59 PM UTC on 14th July 2022. One prize per person.

The General Rules for Competition and the Competition Description will govern in the case of any discrepancy with this post. This Competition is only available to users who are at least 18 years of age and are not a Prohibited Person or a U.S person, both as defined in the Bitfinex Terms of Service.

Prohibited Use:

Entries from users owned or controlled by the same person are not allowed.
