Important: As per the announcement, on September 28 2023, Radix Olympia Mainnet was migrated to Radix Babylon Mainnet, and as part of this migration, all Bitfinex Mainnet XRD deposit addresses generated before this upgrade are no longer operational. As a result, Bitfinex customers are required to generate and use new deposit addresses after this upgrade. Any subsequent deposits sent to the old deposit addresses after the upgrade may be lost and unrecoverable. The format of the deposit address has changed from “rdx1......” to “account_rdx1......”
RADIX (XRD) is the token for the Radix Protocol. Radix is a layer 1 protocol specifically designed to serve Decentralised Finance (DeFi). The Radix Protocol provides scalability, security and access by delivering all the critical layers of the DeFi stack: the consensus layer (Cerberus - the Radix consensus algorithm), the application layer (the Radix Engine V2) and the ecosystem layer which combined aim to power DeFi with unparalleled scalability, ease of use, and liquidity potential that is suitable for global, mainstream scale.
Notes:
- As of 23rd August 2021, Bitfinex supports both Mainnet and ERC-20 based XRD tokens that will need to be converted via the Currency Conversion tool (see below).
- The API symbol for mainnet Radix is XRD, while ERC-20 based Radix is eXRD.
- All past trading history for eXRD will no longer be available.
Conversion
eXRD (ERC-20) can be easily converted to XRD (mainnet) on your wallets page using the Currency Conversion tool.
Note: Trading will be available for XRD (mainnet) tokens only, in order to use eXRD tokens on Bitfinex they need to be converted to mainnet tokens. You can convert mainnet back to eXRD if you need to withdraw Radix as ERC-20 tokens.
