Flare (FLR) is the native token of Flare Network, an Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) compatible layer 1 blockchain designed to interconnect other blockchains. Flare Network has been designed to solve the problem of interoperability in a currently multichain Web3 ecosystem, where individual blockchains exist as independent data silos and do not share universal compatibility across chains.
