Important: As per this announcement, LAI is delisted from Bitfinex, ceasing trading on 16/10/2023 to facilitate the token swap, as previously announced. Following the completion of the swap, Bitfinex has decided not to open trading and deposits of the new LAI token.
The LAI token is a multi-use token that can be used as “fuel” for transactions that take place on the CryptoGPT zero knowledge layer 2 blockchain dedicated for AI development. The LAI token can also be used for liquidity events like buy-backs or burns.
Notes:
- As announced, Bitfinex supported the Layer AI token swap on 16/10/2023. As a result, Bitfinex will only support the new token contract. Any subsequent deposits of the old LAI token may be lost and unrecoverable.
- CryptoGPT (GPT) token was rebranded to LayerAI (LAI) in May 2023.
- Bitfinex supported ERC-20 based LAI token.
