What is BitTorrent (BTT)
Important: As per this announcement, BitTorrent (BTT) has been delisted from Bitfinex, ceasing trading on 27/11/2025 at 1:30 PM UTC.
The BitTorrent (BTT) token, introduced by Tron Foundation and BitTorrent, is a TRC-20 token designed to facilitate transactions between users and service providers within the BitTorrent network. The BitTorrent Protocol is one of the world’s largest distributed networks with over 100 million monthly active users.
Notes:
The contract address has been updated on January 28, 2022, as per the recent token swap. Further information regarding the swap announcement may be found here.
Bitfinex supported TRC-10 token (BTTOLD) is no longer supported. Please ensure you are depositing the correct token as deposits of the incorrect BTT will be lost.
