What is Optimism (OP)
Optimism (OP) represents a scaling Layer 2 solution for Ethereum, designed to enhance transaction speed, reduce costs, and improve user experience. By leveraging Ethereum's robust security, OP aims to offer a seamless and secure environment for conducting transactions. Additionally, the Optimism token is used for its governance, a collaborative effort between the Optimism Foundation and the Optimism Collective.
