What is Sky (SKY)
Sky is the rebranded governance asset and native token of the Sky ecosystem. Through its Sky dApp, it features streamlined governance tools, alongside the SkyLink interoperability between Ethereum, Base, and other chains. The SKY total supply is deflationary thanks to its burn mechanism
SKY enables governance voting over the Sky ecosystem, and powers new subDAOs, the so-called “Sky Stars”, for modular protocol innovation.

- As announced, Bitfinex supported and completed the Maker (MKR) token swap to Sky (SKY) on 08/09/2025. As a result, Bitfinex will only support the new token.
