What is Hyperliquid (HYPE)
The HYPE token is the native utility token of Hyperliquid, a high-performance Layer 1 blockchain designed for decentralized perpetual derivatives trading with an on-chain order book and zero gas fees. HYPE serves multiple core functions: it is used to pay transaction fees, enables staking to help secure the network, and grants governance rights, allowing holders to vote on protocol upgrades and ecosystem decisions.
