Token recovery is a complex, expensive, risky and time-consuming process. Bitfinex does not offer a token recovery service for deposit mistakes (e.g., deposits of tokens not supported by Bitfinex or tokens sent to a wrong address). Please exercise extreme care when depositing tokens.
In limited cases, as determined by Bitfinex in its sole and absolute discretion (e.g., significant losses resulting from one or multiple deposit mistakes), Bitfinex may attempt to assist you in recovering your tokens. Bitfinex may also charge you a recovery fee, based on the level of difficulty of the recovery and the time needed to help recover all or part of your tokens.
If you wish to submit a recovery request, please send a customer support ticket using your Bitfinex account mentioning the following:
- Token name;
- Deposit address;
- Desired recovery address (please make sure that you own the private key);
- Transaction ID;
- Transaction screenshot.
Please note that the recovery process can take weeks. Please be patient.
