Static
A static IP address means that the IP address assigned to your connection never changes. The Local IP address that your home router assigns to you is not the same as your public address. Most internet service providers give you a dynamic public IP address. To ensure a static IP address, you will most likely require a VPN with a dedicated IP address. Using a regular internet provider, there is no guarantee that your IP address won’t change.
Dynamic
A dynamic IP address is a temporary IP address assigned to a computing device or node when it’s connected to a network. A dynamic IP address is automatically configured and is temporary in nature. The vast majority of IP addresses are dynamic and may result in your losing access to your account when whitelisting your IP address.
